How to Handle Possible Problems

With Course Content, Requirements, etc.:

Always begin by discussing any concerns you have in a class with the instructor.  Be specific about your concerns, and offer possible solutions, as possible.  Allow time to try to work through a solution with the instructor.  Document in writing whatever meetings, discussions, and plans with timelines for working on the problem that you and the instructor agree upon.

Ideally, if the above is done, the problem is solved.  If you continue to feel that your concerns about course requirements or activities are not being solved, and the above has been done, then you may contact Dr. Heretick to present your concerns.

READ YOUR SYLLABUS CAREFULLY.  Expectations about assignments, due dates, attendance, conduct, etc., will be spelled out in your syllabus.  Your syllabus is your contract.
