Attendance Policies, Temporary Withdrawal

BA Completion Program - Psychology Argosy University - Phoenix

EXPECTATIONS FOR YOUR ATTENDANCE: You are expected to attend all class sessions, to be punctual, and to be present for the entire scheduled class session. Important announcements are generally made at the beginning of class, and coming in late is disruptive to you and to other students. Absences should occur only for such urgent reasons as seriously ill health or critical emergency (documentation may be required). If any absence occurs or is expected, you should talk with your instructor. Two or more absences or consistent tardiness, even for legitimate reasons, can result in a failing grade in a course.

PLEASE:  No cell phones, pagers, text messaging during class meetings!

TEMPORARY WITHDRAWAL Argosy University offer continuous, year round enrollment. If you will not be registering for a course during a full semester (15 weeks), please complete a Leave of Absence form and file a copy with Student Services and give a copy to Dr. Heretick. If you attended full time (i.e., 6 hours or more) for a term (7 1/2 weeks) and then plan to take off the second half of the term, you also need to file a Leave of Absence form. If you attended half time (i.e., 3 hours or less) for a term (7 1/2 weeks) and then plan to take off the second half of the term, you will need to file a Leave of Absence form. NOTE: IF YOU RECEIVED FINANCIAL AID FOR THE FIRST TERM, THAT MONEY WILL HAVE TO BE RETURNED IF YOU WERE ONLY ATTENDING HALF TIME AND WILL NOT BE ATTENDING THE SECOND TERM OF THE SEMESTER. CONTACT FINANCIAL AID SERVICES FOR MORE INFORMATION.
